Steve and Caroline I performed at the Burning River Fest a number of times. Caroline Quine joined me for at least twice.
Burning River Fest 2 We set on the west side of the old Coast Guard Station and were joined by a host of Western College friends.
This was the second BRF and it was still evolving! The first couple were a little shaky but the event has gone on to become quite impressive drawing attention the the importance of water and sustainability.
Kind nice back drop! This is my primary guitar. A taylor cedar top 714CE. It has been through a lot and just hates being that close to water.
BRF 2 It is hard to argue with performing in this sort of setting!
Faces I don't know why guitar players make faces when we play... but Alex Bevan told me once, "Kid you are alright, but you need to make more faces when you play".
steve_and_12_strings And another BRF photo with my Patagonia Live Simple Hat. I bought this guitar on a family trip. Rachel still believes the reason we didn't go to Kings Island was because I spent all our vacation money on the guitar.
Folknet Cain Park Gig I was one of several performers at this Folknet Cain Park Show. Great venue.
Folknet Cain Park 2 Really nice setting with a very attentive crowd.
Hobart Arena Hobart Arena is in Troy, Ohio.
Hobart Arena 2 There was a tornado warning 20 minutes before I went on... with a few thousand folks there. No body knew exactly what to do. And the storm blew over.
Steve and Jeff at Wertzstock_071 Wertstück was a huge party that ran for a decade. Provided a great opportunity to play with my younger brother Jeff.
werztstock This fellow shows up that I hadn't seen in decades, taken pictures and telling stories I had nearly forgot. Thanks for the shot Marlon!
